Private Pilot License(PPL)

Category 3 Medical Certificate
Completed a minimum of 40 hours private pilot aeroplane ground school instruction
Obtain a minimum of 60% on Private Pilot Licence written examination (PPAER)
45 hours private pilot flight training
Obtain minimum 90% on PSTAR examination
Obtain a Radio Operator certificate
Pass Private Pilot Licence flight test
Commercial Pilot License (CPL)
minimum 18 year old
Category 1 Medical Certificate
Completed a minimum of 80 hours commercial pilot aeroplane ground school
Obtained a minimum of 60% on Commercial Pilot Licence written examination (CPAER)
Completed a minimum of 200 hours flight time, in which 100 hours shall be PIC time and 20 hour cross-country PIC flight time
Completed 65 hours of commercial pilot flight training
Pass Commercial Pilot Licence flight test
Class 4 Instructor Rating
Current holder of valid Commercial Pilot Licence
Category 1 Medical Certificate
minimum of 200 hours total time including 20 hours instrument time (in which 10 hours shall be instrument flight time)
Complete a minimum of 25 hours of Instructor Rating ground school
Obtain minimum of 70% in the Flight Instructor Rating – Aeroplane Class 4 written examination (AIRAF)
Complete a minimum of 30 hours dual flight instruction
Pass Flight Instructor Rating – Aeroplane Class 4 flight test
Instrument Rating (IR)
Current holder of valid Private Pilot License
obtained a minimum of 70% on Instrument Rating written examination (INRAT)
50 hours of cross-country flight as PIC
40 hours of instrument time (in which 20 hours may be instrument ground time)
Pass Instrumental Rating flight test
Multi-Engine Class Rating (ME)
Current holder of valid Private Pilot License
average skilled pilot requires 8-10 hours flight training time in multi-engine aeroplanes
Pass multi-engine Class flight test
Night Rating (NR)
Current holder of valid Private Pilot License
minimum 20 hours of pilot flight time (which includes 10 hours of night flight time, 10 hours dual instrument time)

VFR Over-the-Top Rating (VFR OTT)

Complete a minimum of 15 hours dual instrument time (in which 5 hours may be instrument ground)
Recreational Pilot Permit (RPP)

25 hr flight training on Recreational Pilot Permit

Pass Recreational Pilot Permit flight test
Mountain Flying
2 hours ground session
6 hours flight training in mountainous area
US Check-ride
